Patriot Equipment Rental and Sales “Patriot” is ready to be your DVBE and commercial rental resource. We pride ourselves on service. The inspiration behind Patriot was Founder Marc Torres’s desire to combine his 30+ years of equipment rental industry expertise with his service in the United States
Marine Corps and become a DVBE supplier.

Patriot is here to help clients meet DVBE content requirements and is willing to source equipment to meet the long-term needs of our clients.

Leadership

CEO Marc Torres started his rental career as a yard worker with US/United Rentals and when he left was the top salesperson in N. California. He was recruited to Sunbelt Rentals to help build the Key Account program. When Mr. Torres left Sunbelt, he was one of the top salespeople in the nation. Most recently,

while starting Patriot, Mr. Torres was asked to join the EquipmentShare team to help them start a national sales program. Mr. Torres served in the United States Marine Corps.

COO Derrick Torres started his rental career in the yard with US Rentals and ultimately became Branch Manager for various locations at US Rentals, Ahern, and Sunstate. Currently, Mr. Torres is the Western Region Director of Operations for EquipmentShare. Mr. Torres holds a BA in Business Management from the University of Phoenix.

CFO Mike Deutsch has a diverse financial background. He has served as the CFO for Green Acres Nursery & Supply/Matsuda’s, one of the largest independent garden centers in the US, as well as the Treasurer of A. Teichert & Sons Construction, which has the oldest active contractor’s license in the state of California. In addition, his commercial banking background allowed him to work with many diverse industries including equipment rental. He holds his BA in Finance and MBA from California State University Sacramento.
